Author and rapper, Fior de Bior, whose real name is Hervé Kossougboto, was born on April 14, 1998 in Nigeria, but his parents moved to Côte d'Ivoire in 2003, to Abidjan, in the working-class district of Anoumabo. The artist is a naturalized Ivorian. He left school in his final year and, without really thinking about becoming a professional, posted his freestyles on the Internet, videos that were often crazy and full of humor. When he published "Le Kpokpopouho Soualélé", he was spotted by Ariel Sheney, who immediately signed him to his AS Records label and released the track as a single and video. The track amassed over three million views, and the machine was off and running. Fior 2 Bior went on to release a string of singles, including a single with rapper Niska, "Gnonmi Avec Lait", which reached almost thirty million views on Youtube. In four years, the artist has succeeded in making a name for himself far beyond the borders of Côte d'Ivoire, with his playful style, festive music and mastery of onomatopoeia. Among the most listened-to singles of the twenty or so released are "Ils se jettent" (2020), "Godo Godo" (2021) "wiliki Djon Djon" (2022) and "O'Cho " (2023).
