Hailing from Bouaké, Côte d'Ivoire, Jean-Marie Konan (aka JM) and Sébastien Amani (aka Major Goldman) made a name for themselves in the early 2000s with their coupé-décalé style. Their album Salamandre , released in 2003, was a big hit. The duo moved to Europe to spread their music more widely. After the success of "Coupé décalé dance " in 2007, it was under the name of Sany Afrika that they flooded French clubs three years later with hits such as "100% décalé", "On est là" and "Afrika Baby". In 2014, a new era began with the single "Number One". From then on, the duo, who operate under the name Force One, released a series of hits: "Baby Marry", "Sholey", "Zango"... right up to their cover of "Maloya", which made the club charts in 2016.
