Fort Minor is an alternative hip-hop project by Mike Shinoda, one of the founding members of Linkin Park. in 2005, he released his debut album The Rising Tied, on which he was supported by Jay-Z (co-producer), John Legend, Skylar Grey, Kenna and his band colleague from Linkin Park, Joe Hahn, among others. In the USA, the album stays in the charts for a total of 26 weeks and is also certified platinum. In Germany, the album reaches number 25 in the charts. in 2006, the single "Where'd You Go (feat. Holly Brook & Jonah Matranga)" reached number 4 in the US charts, after which Mike Shinoda continued to focus on his main project Linkin Park. Fort Minor celebrated its comeback in 2015 with the single "Welcome".
