Francisca y Los Exploradores, led by Argentine singer-songwriter Franco Saglietti, emerged in 2013 with the release of their debut album Barbuda, leaving a mark on Argentina’s indie scene. Known for their expansive, genre-defying sound, the band consistently pushes musical boundaries. In 2015, they gained further recognition after winning the Buenos Aires Bienal de Arte and releasing their critically acclaimed album Franco (2016), produced by Adrián Dárgelos of Babasónicos. Over the years, Francisca y Los Exploradores has continued to evolve, collaborating with major artists such as Fito Páez and Julieta Venegas, as well as contemporary figures like Zoe Gotusso and Bandalos Chinos. Their 2024 album, Deseo, showcases Franco Saglietti’s masterful storytelling and includes collaborations with El Zar, Bandalos Chinos, and Romeo El Santo, among others. With four albums to their name, the band remains a vital force in Argentine music, continually surprising listeners with their innovative and emotive soundscapes.
