A virtuoso of the classical keyboard, François-Frédéric Guy (b. 1969) is one of the world's most acclaimed French pianists. A specialist in Beethoven, he has performed all thirty-two Sonatas on numerous occasions, including the legendary Hammerklavier, played some sixty times. The pianist, who made his debut with the Orchestre de Paris, has accompanied numerous orchestras, including the Philarmonia at London's Prom's in 2006. His pedigree also includes several recordings with cellist Anne Gastinel between 1999 and 2008(Sonatas for violin and cello by Brahms and Beethoven) and contemporary works by Dufour (who dedicated Erlkönig to him), Fedele and Monnet. In 2015, he joined forces with Jean-Efflam Bavouzet for the collection Transcriptions for Two Pianists.
