Frank Michael

Born Franco Gabelli in Parma on May 7, 1953, the future Frank Michael left Italy at the age of three. The singer grew up in Belgium, where he became popular with a predominantly adult, female audience. He began to sing, and his declarations of love to women were increasingly successful. Over the next two decades, the charming singer built up a loyal following of fans with a steady stream of recordings, and moved crowds on long tours and gala concerts. In 2003, the album Entre Nous confirmed his success away from the media. This success continues with subsequent releases, Rue des Amours (2009), Quelques Mots d'Amour (2011) and Bonjour l'Amour (2012). Author of a tribute in French and Italian to Elvis Presley(Thank You Elvis, 2003), the sentimental crooner continues his momentum with new songs by Claude Lemesle and Michel Mallory on Toi, l'Amour et Moi (2015), followed by a compilation dedicated to his early years, Mes Premiers Amours (1975-1985). A new album, Écouter les Femmes, was released in 2016.
