French Tobacco

French singer French Tobacco cut his teeth solo in a red van on the roads of the UK. A journey from which he brought back his pseudonym from an evening in a Scottish pub in 2011, and an armful of folk-rock songs inspired by Jeff Buckley and Clint Eastwood. French Tobacco also brings back a degree in music business science. Alone on stage with his guitar and his inseparable suitcase, French Tobacco was spotted on his return to France by Gérard Drouot Productions. This connection enabled French Tobacco to play a number of prestigious and formative opening acts (Jeff Beck, Cascadeur, Nikki Yanofsky) during 2014. Signed to the Play On label, French Tobacco released the single "Cry " in early 2015. A first song that seduces radio stations and quickly enters among the most downloaded singles of the moment.
