Fuck Buttons

Using homemade synths, tribal drums, children's toys and just about anything they can get their paws on, electro duo Fuck Buttons create storms of bleeps, screams and beats in a constant battle between ear bleeding drone and looping, psychedelic melodies. Formed by Worcester lads Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power while at art school together in Bristol, their reputation steadily grew through live shows before debut album Street Horrrsing (2008), produced by Mogwai guitarist John Cummings, received huge critical acclaim and was named by Pitchfork at Number 20 on their albums of the year list. The duo became mainstays at the ATP festivals and supported The Pixies on tour, before working with Primal Scream producer Andrew Weatherall on second album Tarot Sport (2009). They have remixed tracks for Manic Street Preachers, Fever Ray and Jonsi and have built a reputation as experimental, mad, sonic scientists, creating pounding, hypnotic electro and distortion heavy, white noise.
