Fujii Kaze

Born on June 14, 1997 in Satoshō, Okayama, Japan, pop-rock singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze (藤井 風) kicked off his musical journey aged 12, sharing piano and vocal cover videos to YouTube. After moving to Tokyo in 2019, he set his sights on a professional recording career and was signed to Universal Sigma, with whom released his debut single, "何なんw (WTF)" in November that year. A second single, "もうええわ (Mo-Eh-Wa)" followed in December, with each aforementioned single getting its own EP release. In May 2020, Fujii Kaze dropped his debut album, Help Ever Hurt Never, which shot to Number two on Japan's Oricon Albums Chart. Following his rescheduled NAN-NAN SHOW 2020, he unleashed another two new singles, "へでもねーよ (Hedemo Ne-Yo)" and "青春病 (Seishun Sick)" in October 2020, with accompanying EPs emerging that December. Fujii Kaze released a trio of singles in 2021: "Tabiji" (旅路) – which gave him a Number 15 placement in Japan – "Kirari" (きらり) – which rose to Number 5 – and "Ignite" (燃えよ).
