Gabriel Guedes de Almeida

Gabriel Guedes de Almeida is a Brazilian Christian singer-songwriter and worship leader born in São Paulo on April 15, 1992. Raised in a family dedicated to ministry—his parents, Carlos Alberto and Tania de Almeida, founded the Corpus Christ Church—Gabriel Guedes de Almeida's passion for music was evident from a young age. With a rich musical heritage on his mother's side, he began piano lessons at just 7 years old and joined the church's worship team as a keyboardist and backing vocalist at 12. His leadership and involvement grew, eventually overseeing the church’s worship ministry and audiovisual department. During his teenage years, he began composing original songs, contributing to the recording of two ministry albums, Toco em Jesus (2010) and Cura-me (2011). In 2014, Gabriel Guedes de Almeida started sharing his music online, posting his renditions of worship songs alongside his own compositions, aiming to spread God's love to a broader audience, especially young people. His heartfelt approach to worship, centered on sharing the message of Christ and offering hope, resonated with listeners, establishing him as a respected voice in the Christian music scene. After releasing his debut album My Sessions in 2017, Gabriel Guedes de Almeida returned in 2019 with his first live LP Eterno Presente, followed by other popular live albums such as Gabriel Guedes (Ao Vivo) (2021) and In Concert (2023). The latter included the track "Santo pra Sempre," which quickly became one of the most celebrated songs in his catalog.
