Gabriel Pedernera

Gabriel Pedernera, born on March 19, 1986, in Córdoba, Argentina, is a multifaceted drummer, composer, and producer renowned for his dynamic contributions to Latin rock. He co-founded the acclaimed rock trio Eruca Sativa in 2007 alongside Lula Bertoldi and Brenda Martin, releasing eight studio albums, including La carne (2008), Barro y fauna (2016), and Seremos Primavera (2019), as well as the live album XV En Vivo Obras (2023). His musical journey began at eight, deeply influenced by jazz, rock, and folklore, and his early career saw collaborations with bands like De Bueyes (2009-2011), formed by members of Bersuit Vergarabat. Beyond performing, he has carved a name as a producer, shaping records for artists such as David Lebón (Lebón & Co), Soledad Pastorutti, and Kevin Johansen. Gabriel Pedernera’s collaborations span diverse genres, contributing his drumming talents to albums by Abel Pintos, Leo García, and Rayos Láser. In 2024, he composed the film score for the Argentine TV series Cromañón, featuring contributions from Santiago Motorizado, Lucy Patané, and Mujer Cebra.
