This Brooklyn-based band's music is at the crossroads of grime (a genre imported from London that blends hip-hop, drum'n'bass and punk) and electro. After the death of their lead singer in 2002, Gang Gang Dance released Revival of the Shittest in 2004, followed by the album Saint Dymphna in 2008, their first real international success. They officially conquered England and Europe by signing to 4AD, where the album Eye Contact was released in 2011.
