Gazebo

Italian-born Paul Mazzolini was born on February 18, 1960 in Beirut, Lebanon. The son of a diplomat and an American singer, he spent his cosmopolitan youth playing guitar in jazz, rock and punk bands. This eclecticism eventually led him to Italian disco, which he discovered with producer Paul Micioni in 1982. Gazebo released "Masterpiece ", which reached number two in Italy. In 1983, his song "I Like Chopin" became one of the big hits of the year, reaching number one in some fifteen countries. In France alone, where it was only number two, it sold over six hundred thousand and forty-five copies. His album Gazebo, released that same year, was also a great success. Gazebo then made a more discreet comeback in 2006 with the Italo dance song "Tears for Galileo". In 2013, Gazebo released his first live album, I Like...Live, on which he revisited all his hits.
