Gazoline

Rock band from Saguenay (Canada), formed in 2006, originally consisting of David Dufour, Jean-Cimon Tellier-Dubé and Xavier Dufour-Thériault. They began their career under the name Les Horn Abbots at the Secondaire en Spectacle competition, which they won in 2006. In January 2012, he launched their first EP, Futurbabymama, produced with producer Xavier Caféine. That same year, they took part in the Les Francouvertes competition, finishing second behind the duo Les Soeurs Boulay. Gazoline released their self-titled debut album on March 25, 2014, with the song " Ces gens qui dansent " quickly hitting the Quebec charts. The band subsequently tours Canada with their debut material. In September 2016, the band became a quartet, with the arrival of Julien Mineau, and released the opus Brûlensemble . The track " L'Amour véritable est aux rebelles " ( True love belongs to rebels ) is a chart-topper on Quebec's pop-rock radio stations. The album is nominated at the ADISQ gala, the GAMIQ and the SOCAN song award in 2017. The band returns with a third album in 2021, entitled Gazoline III, which is shortlisted for Rock Album of the Year at the ADISQ gala in 2022.
