Ghost9 is a South Korean boy band formed by Maroo Entertainment in 2020. Originally comprising ex-reality show contestants Shin, Son Jung-hyun, Choi Jun-seong, Lee Kang-sung, Prince, Lee Woo-jin, Lee Jin-woo, Hwang Dong-jun, and Lee Taeseung, the group debuted with lead single "Think of Dawn," from their mini-album Pre Episode 1: Door on September 2020, which climbed to number 14 on Korean charts, followed by Pre Episode 2: W.all, on December 10, reaching number 12. After a string of nominations including Best New Male Group at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and Rookie of the Year at the Seoul Music Awards, Ghost9 returned with third and fourth mini albums, Now: Where We Are, Here, and Now: When We Are in Love, in March and June, 2021 respectively. Following the departure of Hwang Dong-jun, and Lee Taeseung, the group released their fifth mini album, Who We Are Facing, on November 25, 2021 with the remaining seven members. Having attracted a considerable following in the United States, the took their GHOST9 [Into The Now] Meet & Live Tour to Los Angeles and San Francisco in January 2022 to the delight of their American fans. Returning in 2023 with lead single "X-Ray" from their sixth mini album, Arcade: V , it was their next release Arcade: O that attained their highest chart position to date, reaching number 11 on the Top 100 K-pop Album charts in November that year.
