Italian singer and musician Giorgio Vanni was born in Milan on August 19, 1963. In 1976, at the age of thirteen, he formed his first group, Luti's Band, before becoming a professional musician with the pop-rock group Tomato, from 1979 to 1992. In 1987, he began composing for other artists, starting with Miguel Bosé, before recording his first album, Grande Cuore, in 1994. His meeting with composer, arranger and producer Max Longhi in 1996 led to a series of projects, from TV and advertising credits to albums inspired by Japanese cartoons. In addition to the Pokémon and Dragon Ball credits, they produced the original albums Time Machine - Da Goldrake a Goku (2012), Toon Tunz (2019), The Gold Session (2022) and the compilations The Master Saga (2006), Pokémon Compilation (2007), Giorgio Vanni Project - I cartoni di Italia 1 (2010), Super Hits (2010) and Uno di noi (2024).
