Girls Against Boys represent one of the jewels in the crown of hardcore indie rock in the 90s. Although their geographical location in Washington DC. has inevitably led to their being likened to their big brother Fugazi, Girls Against Boys - the "band with two basses" - have managed to sweeten their music by infusing it with melodies that are sometimes pop. Their albums Cruise Yourself (1995) and You Can't Fight What You Can't See (2002) are among the must-haves of American post-hardcore.
