Good Day was a South Korean girl group formed by C9 Entertainment, consisting of ten members: Heejin, Genie, Cherry, Chaesol, Nayoon, Jiwon, Haeun, Viva, Bomin, and Lucky. Several of these members were already active in the entertainment industry before the group's formation. Good Day was officially launched in 2017 with their debut and only EP All Day Good Day, featuring the lead single "Rolly." Before the EP was released, the group starred in their own reality show titled GOOD DAY 2 U, which aired from July 20 to August 10, 2017. They celebrated the release of their EP with a mini-concert titled All Day Good Day. Over the course of 2017 and 2018, six members participated in the reality television series The Unit, aiming for a chance to join the project group UNI.T, though none were successful. Despite this exposure, Good Day disbanded in November 2019, as C9 Entertainment began to focus on new projects including the formation of the girl group Cignature. After the group's disbandment, several members joined other groups; Jiwon, Chaesol, Viva, Lucky, and Haeun became part of Cignature, which debuted in February 2020. Other members like Genie, Cherry, Nayoon, and Bomin formed a new group called Redsquare, which debuted in May 2020.
