Grand Magus

Grand Magus is a Swedish heavy metal band that was founded in Stockholm in 1996. The band consists of Janne "JB" Christoffersson (vocals, guitar), Mats "Fox" Skinner (bass) and Ludwig "Ludde" Witt (drums). Their musical style can be described as a mixture of traditional heavy metal and doom metal. Grand Magus has released several successful albums over the course of their career. Their best-known works include Iron Will (2008), Hammer of the North (2010), The Hunt (2012), Triumph and Power (2014), Sword Songs (2016) and Wolf God (2019). Their album Hammer of the North reached number 42 in the German album charts, which is considered a breakthrough for the band. Popular singles from the band include "I, the Jury" and "Ravens Guide Our Way". Grand Magus' latest album is Sunraven, which was released on October 18, 2024. The first single from this album is titled "Skybound".
