Somewhere between bucolic folk and wide-open spaces rock, Great Lake Swimmers have been responsible for a string of critically acclaimed albums since 2003. The Canadians found their public salvation in 2007 with their third album, Ongiara. In March 2009, Great Lake Swimmers released their fourth opus, Lost Channels, to great acclaim in Europe. In 2012, New Wild Everywhere follows the same path, without departing from the original country-tinged folk rock. In 2015, Great Lake Swimmers released their sixth album, A Forest of Arms.
