A fully-fledged member of the boy band wave that swept France and the world in the mid-1990s, G-Squad only really sang for one album. Made up of five singers and dancers, the group debuted in 1996 and created a stir with the songs "Raide dingue de toi" and "Aucune fille au monde". Released in 1997, the album G-Squad sold over two hundred thousand units, and the group toured to sold-out houses. Dissensions soon arose between the founding members, and G-Squad was soon no more than a trio. The amputated group released the album Besoin de Vous in 1998 and disappeared shortly afterwards.
