Prior to having her first hit single the Swedish pop singer Hanna Ferm (October 23, 2000) had been a contestant on two TV reality talent shows. In 2014, she entered Talang Sverige, the Swedish version of the Got Talent franchise, and made it to the semi-final, and then in 2017, she came second after entering Idol 17 narrowly losing out to Chris Kläfford, the most successful contestant in the history of the show. In 2018, Ferm turned once again to the show in order to promote her career ambitions and entered Idol 18, this time singing a duet with the up-and-coming Swedish-Icelandic football star Bragi Bergsson. The following year, she entered Sweden's popular music showcase the Melodifestivalen, once again as part of a duo but this time partnered with LIAMOO, a previous Idol winner. Their song “Hold You” was good enough to make it to the final and the single subsequently went to Number 2 on the Swedish charts. She would go on to compete as a solo singer in 2020’s Melodifestivalen with the track “Brave,” reaching the final and finishing up in fourth place. The track was also released as a single and cracked the Top 5 in Sweden. In 2021, her single “För evigt” hit Number 9 on the domestic singles chart, while “Flyg Fula Fluga Flyg” bowed at Number 32.
