Joshua Hayes Carll is an American country rock singer-songwriter known for his witty lyrics and personable delivery. Born in Texas, he made his recording debut with the album 'Flowers and Liquor' in 2002. 'Little Rock' came out in 2005 followed in 2008 by 'Trouble in Mind'. His 2011 release 'KMAG YOYO (& Other American Stories)' went to number 12 on Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart and number 17 on the Top Rock Albums Chart. He has written songs for other artists including 'Chances Are' which was recorded by Lee Ann Womack and was nominated for a 2016 Grammy Award as Best Country Song. His 2016 album 'Lovers and Leavers' reached number four on Billboard's Americana/Folk Albums Chart, number nine on the Independent Albums Chart and number 14 on the Rock Chart. He released his sixth album 'What It Is' in February 2019.
