Herencia de Grandes, a Regional Mexican group from Culiacán, Sinaloa, was formed in 2015 by family members Omar Rubio (second voice), Iván Rubio (lead voice and accordion), Hernán López (drums), José López (bajo sexto), and newcomer Jorge Mendiola (bass). The quintet quickly gained recognition with tracks like “No Me Abandones” and “Esa Plebita,” featured in their 2016 Herencia de Grandes en Vivo desde Culiacán album. They followed this success with other albums such as El Libras (2019), La Parranda (2022), and Lo Que la Gente Estaba Esperando (2023). After releasing a live LP titled En Vivo Desde Anaheim, CA, recorded in the United States in 2024, Herencia de Grandes dropped the album Cómo Duele el Amor, featuring the title track and other popular tracks such as "No Regreses."
