A product of the rich Lyon scene and the Jarring Effects label, High Tone is France's leading dub electro band. Formed in the Croix-Rousse district of Lyon (Rhône) in 1997, High Tone made their mark with Opus Incertum in 2000. Their albums Bass Temperature (2001), Acid Dub Nucleik (2002), Wave Digger (2005) and Underground Wobble (2007) all bear witness to the band's quest for perfection. On the occasion of a reissue of their catalog, the track "Bass Temperature" enters the French Top 100 bestseller list. Outback in 2010 more than confirms this breakthrough, a sign that dub is moving ever closer to recognition
