House Gospel Choir is a London-based group of singers and musicians. Founded by Natalie Maddix in 2014, the group has an ever-changing line-up of singers and supporting players who fuse house and gospel music in live and recorded performances around the world. They perform live with the support of DJs, a full band of musicians and specialised percussion. They have played and recorded with such luminaries as MNEK, Gregory Porter, Stormzy, Gorgon City, Naughty Boy & Katy B. Finally, in 2019 the group released its first single, the original composition 'Salvation' on Island Records. The single is a collaboration with industrial collective, Adelphi Music Factory and was debuted at the Glastonbury Festival in the same year. Over the years since its inception, House Gospel Choir has grown to include 150 members of all religions and backgrounds. Its monthly public mass choir open rehearsal in East London regularly attracts new members, as well as collaborators such as The Black Madonna, and electro pop singer Georgia.
