Hugel

French DJ and producer Florent Hugel, known to the public by his surname Hugel, was born in Marseille on December 4, 1987. he began creating his own songs and remixes in 2005. He celebrated his first successes in the EDM sector as part of the duo KitSch 2.0 and also produced hip-hop beats under the artist name Hipshaker. His debut single as Hugel, "Coming Home" (feat. Jimmy Hennessy), was his first chart entry in Germany in 2015. His commercial breakthrough came two years later with the single " I Believe I'm Fine", which he produced together with Robin Schulz and for which he received his first gold record. in 2018, he released a remix of the song "Bella Ciao ", made famous by the TV series Haus des Geldes. The summer hit went platinum in Germany and reached number 1 in Austria. A short time later, he followed this up in the charts with "WTF", on which he was supported vocally by soul singer Amber Van Day, and was awarded gold in Germany and Austria. Hugel was also in demand internationally as a live act and DJ. He was a regular guest at the legendary clubs in Ibiza and performed at the biggest EDM festivals in the world, such as Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza and Parookaville. in 2020, he remixed the international hit "Breaking Me" by the German producer Topic and the Swede A7S, which was just as popular as the song "Morenita", which he released in 2021 with the musicians of the band Cumbiafrica.
