Hui

Lee Hoe-taek, born on August 28, 1993, in Gwacheon, South Korea, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, composer, and actor. Better known by his stage name Hui, he debuted as the leader, main vocalist, and lead dancer of the boy group Pentagon in October 2016. On April 4, 2017, Cube Entertainment announced that he would participate in a project group called Triple H alongside Hyuna and E'dawn. The group debuted on May 1 with the EP 199X and the title track "365 Fresh". In 2017, Hui co-composed the hit song "Never" for Produce 101 Season 2 and Wanna One's debut single "Energetic" alongside Flow Blow, seeing both songs fly to the top of online music charts. In 2018, Hui co-composed several songs including Kriesha Chu's "Paradise," "This Stop", Shinwha's "Don't Leave Me", and several Pentagon tracks including "Shine." He also performed his self-produced track "Theme song 1" on the show Idol Room. After being discharged from military service in 2022, Hui participated as a contestant on Boys Planet using his real name, ranking 13th overall, however failed to debut in the final lineup. In January 2024, Hui made a comeback with his debut EP Whu is Me: Complex, reaching number 4 on the Korean charts.
