A Canadian country band from Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, Hunter Brothers was formed by siblings Luke, J.J., Ty, Brock and Dusty Hunter in 2016. The brothers released their debut single, "El Dorado," that same year, reaching number 25 on the Billboard Canada Country Chart. The full-length album Getaway was released one year later, and Hunter Brothers earned a pair of Top 10 country singles with "Born and Raised" and "Those Were the Nights." The band's second album, State of Mind, was released in 2019, preceded by the hit single "Lost." "Lost" reached Number 1 on the Canada Country Singles chart and became the band's third release in a row to go gold. Two additional songs from State of Mind, "Northern Lights" and "Silver Lining," both reached the Top 20 in 2019, which helped Hunter Brothers earn a nomination at the 2020 Juno Awards for "Country Album of the Year." One year later, the band's hit streak continued with 2021's Been a Minute. Although the album itself failed to chart, Been a Minute still spawned three Top 40 singles, including the title track (number 12) and "Hard Dirt" (number 17). An EP, Burning Down the Barn, followed in 2023, featuring the number 38 hit "What Colour You Drive."
