Danish pop singer-songwriter Ida Laurberg has grown her fanbase organically and exponentially online, beginning her trajectory with the self-released song "Puppy Dog Eyes," which she wrote aged 16 and garnered millions of views. She continued to hone her voice across a raft of follow-up singles from 2019's "My Chemistry" to 2020's "Dirty" and her debut "Phase Five" EP, also released in 2020. In 2021, she developed her sound further with the intimate "Personal Letters" and "Singing Mars A Lullaby" before 2022's "God's Work" marked her last outing as an independent artist. She signed with Capitol Records Denmark and made her major-label debut in 2022 with "Terrier."
