Imanbek Zeikenov (born on October 21, 2000) is a DJ and producer hailing from Aksu, Kazakhstan. His love of music began at the early age of 8 when his father gave him a guitar. He started making house music remixes in 2017 while working at a railway station. Imanbek is mostly known for his remix of Guyanese-American rapper Saint Jhn’s “Roses,” released via Russian label Effective Records. Due to the popularity of the remix in 2019, the original song climbed back up to the top of Billboard’s US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, and reached Number 1 in several European countries, becoming the most Shazam-ed song in the UK. Imanbek has achieved extensive popularity in his home country, as well as in Russia and Ukraine. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including SCREAMTEEN, Martin Jensen, FILV, and Edmofo. In addition to making remixes for other musicians, Imanbek also releases original music. His first track, “Dope,” came out in 2020 via Dharma Worldwide, a sub-label of Dutch record label Spinnin’ Records.
