A French R&B singer born in Sevran, Seine-Saint-Denis, on June 3, 1999, Imen Es (née Essrhir) came to prominence in 2018 with her duet with rapper Abou Debeing on the track "Mes défauts" (ranked #133). She then led her career on her own, recording her first single, "Attentat", which found its way to the bestseller list in France (#23). Imen Es followed this up with "Tu perds ton temps", "Je sais" (#117) and "C'est mort" in 2019, then scored another chart hit with "Mayday" (#157). The same year, she released the single "Oui" , which in turn made a strong entry in the French charts (#58). Her debut album Nos Vies, released in February 2020, reached No.5 on its release. It includes contributions from Dadju, Alonzo, Abou Debeing, Jul, Franglish and Marwa Loud. That same year, Imen Es placed two tracks in the French chart: "1ère fois" with Alonzo (#11) and "Jusqu'au bout" with Amel Bent (#47). In 2021, she climbed even higher up the charts with the singles "Essaie encore" (no. 5) and "Fantôme" (no. 9). The same year, she released her second studio album, soberly entitled Es, which reached no. 14. Two years later, in 2023, Imen Es released her third opus, Train de Vie, which reached number 5 in the French charts. It features guest appearances by ZKR on "Derrière toi" and Soprano on "Si Baba". After the 24-track expanded version, Imen Es collaborates with Jungeli and Alonzo on "Petit génie", then returns with Franglish in 2024 for the track "Quitter", followed by the DK EP.
