I-NIL, born Seokhyun Son, is a South Korean rapper, singer, and songwriter who debuted on March 2, 2020, with the single "SAVE ME". Known for his melodic yet versatile rap style, he blends hip-hop with elements of rock and pop, creating a unique sound that showcases both his rapping and singing abilities. I-NIL gained recognition for his rapid-fire delivery and intricate rhyme schemes, particularly in his 2021 single "GOD MODE", which highlighted his impressive technical skills. His music spans various hip-hop subgenres, including boom bap, trap, drill, and rage, demonstrating his adaptability. Despite being labeled as a rapper, his vocal ability stands out, featuring a strong, high-pitched tone that adds emotional depth to his tracks.
