Real name Innocent Didace Balume, Congolese rapper and singer Innoss'B was born on May 5, 1997, in Goma, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo. It was here that he grew up in the heart of a family of six children, where music already played a major role. From the age of 6, he played the djembe and joined his brothers in the Maisha Soul group. In 2010, when he was just 13, he won a competition organized by a telephone operator and was noticed by American RnB singer and producer Akon, a member of the final jury, who took him under his wing and recorded the single "Up and Away" with him. In 2013, he released his debut album Innocent, featuring tracks such as "Follow Me", "I Like You", "Free", and "Bounce Like a Ball". In the years that followed, he released a string of singles, including "Cha Cha" in 2015, "Together as One" in 2016, "Mon boulot" in 2019 and "Nous sommes l'avenir" in 2020. After the album Mortel 06 in 2021, he made his mark again with the track "Naomi Campbell" in 2022. in March 2024, Innoss'B was named high-level supporter of the World Food Program (WFP), thus committing himself to humanitarian causes. In September 2024, he released the single "Pole Pole", advocating social values and exhorting young people to humility and patience. He also announced the release of a new album for 2025, accompanied by two major concerts.
