Issei Takahashi is a popular Japanese movie and television actor who has appeared in a great many television series since his start in 1990 with leading roles in shows such as 'Quartet' (2017), 'Bokura wa Kiseki de Dekiteiru' (2018) and 'Mikazuki' (2019). His films include 'The Lies She Loved' (2018) and 'Romance Doll' (2019). He made his recording debut in 2019 with the J-pop single 'Kimi ni aitai (Dance With You)' written and produced by Hiroji Miyamoto of the rock group Elephant Kashimashi. Also in 2019, he sings the theme tune, with a title that means 'I Want to See You' in English, for a television comedy series in which he stars, 'Tokyo Dokushin Danshi'.
