The German music group Italobrothers was founded around 2005 by Mathias Metten Klyve, Kristian Sandberg and Zacharias Adrian and is based in the Italo disco genre. In July 2006, their first single "The Moon" was released as a precursor to the EP Zooland Italo. With the release of "Moonlight Shadow", a cover version of Mike Oldfield's 1980 song of the same name, the group made a name for itself in German discotheques in 2007. On September 25, 2009, one of their biggest hits "Stamp on the Ground" is released, which conquers the top 100 of all Scandinavian charts and also storms the dance charts in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. In December 2010, the band released the album Stamp!, which largely failed to reach the charts. In July 2012, the single "My Life Is a Party" is released, a cover of O-Zone, which reaches number 43 in the charts in Germany and number 18 in Austria. After further singles, the project released the track "Springfield" in 2015 in collaboration with Norwegian DJ and producer Martin Tungevaag, which went triple platinum in Norway. Over the years, the Italobrothers not only tried their hand at Italo dance, but also used elements of trap, house and electro. After the release of "Summer Air" in 2016 (triple platinum in Norway and Sweden, gold in Germany), the group decided to change their musical direction. Further releases such as "Looking Back Someday" (2018),"Stay" (2020) and "Down For the Ride" (2021) are oriented towards the future bass style.
