Born on January 22nd, 1995 in Australia, pop singer-songwriter Ivy Adara began writing songs as a teenager and first rose to fame after competing on the eighth season of The X Factor Australia in 2016. After relocating to Los Angeles, she took on songwriting projects for artists including Dami Im, Natalie Conway, Jessica Mauboy, Selena Gomez, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, G-Eazy and Hailee Steinfeld, scoring a hit for Jessica Mauboy with "Fallin", which was nominated for 5 ARIA and 3 APRA awards including Song of the Year. She went on to release her own debut single "Famous" in November 2017 and followed it up with a second single, "Everybody Hurts", featuring The Him. Made in collaboration with Cirkut, Jon Hume, and Lindsey Jackson, her debut EP Intraduction arrived in 2018, packed full of electro-pop gems and Gen Z reflections. Her next original solo song came in 2020, "Pressure", followed by the singles "Stranger", "Apartment No. 2" and "Want What I Can't Have" in 2021.
