Kim Sung-hee (Korean: 김성희), known by his stage name Ja Mezz (자메즈), is a South Korean rapper born on August 11, 1989. Ja Mezz emerged in the hip-hop scene with his unique lyrical style, releasing his debut EP, 1/4, on August 11, 2015, under Grandline Entertainment and LOEN Entertainment. He initially gained attention with singles like “Wanna Get (Oasis Part 2)” and “Audi,” showcasing his flair for storytelling and distinctive flow. Ja Mezz gained broader recognition through his appearances on Show Me the Money (SMTM), a popular South Korean rap competition show. His performances on SMTM4 in 2015 and SMTM6 in 2017, including notable tracks like “Turtle Ship” with Andup and Song Min-ho, and “Life Is A Gamble” featuring Jay Park and Dok2. In 2018, Ja Mezz expanded his reach to Japan, collaborating with Japanese artist Mitsuhiro Hidaka on the track "Name Tag."
