Jackson Yee is a Chinese singer, dancer and actor who shot to fame as a member of the boy band TFBoys but has also carved out a solo career in his own right. Born in Huaihua, Hunan at the turn of the millennium, Yee got his show business break early, performing in various variety shows from the age of four. In 2009 he joined the Chinese idol group Fashion Youngsters, performing with them for two years. In the meantime, he also made his acting debut in the TV series 'Iron Pear' in 2010. In 2012, having left Fashion Youngsters, he took part in the reality TV talent show 'Up Young' and, despite being eliminated, was picked up by TF Entertainment. He made his solo singing debut with 'Dream Skyscraper' and appeared in several short films before becoming the youngest member of TFBoys in 2013. The group swiftly became one of the most successful Mandopop groups, releasing a string of hits including 'Magic Castle', 'For Dreams, Always Be Ready' and 'Manual of Youth' and scooping up commercial endorsement and branding deals putting their estimated commercial value in the triple figure dollar bracket. Over the same period Yee took on various acting roles and in November 2016 released the solo single 'You Say'. The following year he released his first English-language singles, 'Nothing to Lose' and 'Unpredictable'.
