Born on September 28, 1998 in Brusque, Santa Catarina, Brazil, pop singer and songwriter Jade Baraldo came into prominence after appearing on The Voice Brazil, where she finished as a semi-finalist. She began singing as a child and was encouraged by her parents to pursue music, kickstarting her recording career in 2017 with the slinky yet understated pop of talked-about debut single "Brasa," which earned her a substantial online following, and releasing her debut album, Mais Que os Olhos Podem Ver, in 2019. She has since released several other singles, including two more in 2021: "Afrodite" and "Não Ama Nada."
