Jade Thirlwall

Jade Thirlwall is a British singer, songwriter, and former member of the erstwhile internationally acclaimed girl group Little Mix. Born on 26 December 1992 in South Shields, England, she found her passion for music at a young age, performing in local competitions before auditioning for The X Factor in 2011. After being eliminated as a solo act, she was brought back to form Little Mix, who went on to win the competition and become one of the UK's best-selling girl groups. Known for her powerhouse vocals, bubbly personality, and fierce advocacy for equality and diversity, she often uses her platform to speak out on issues such as racism, LGBTQIA+ rights, and mental health awareness. Of Yemeni and Egyptian descent, she has been vocal about her experiences as a mixed-race woman in the music industry. Outside of Little Mix, she has branched out into TV hosting and modelling, as well as charity work. In 2022, she inked a deal with RCA Records and dropped her debut single, "Angel of My Dreams," to rounds of critical applause. The single reached number seven in the UK and was followed by several new versions in 2024, including a remix by dance music mainstay The Blessed Madonna.
