Born in south London, folk-pop singer and songwriter Jake Isaac started learning the drums at age three and developed an ear for music at school, where he learned to play piano and bass guitar. The son of a reverend, he was surrounded by worship music from an early age and channels this into his professional endeavours. His first self-released EP Hearts & Parables, arrived in 2012 and after building up a live following, he issued live album Back to You in 2013 with sophomore EP War Child emerging in 2014. After playing Glastonbury's Other Stage, he caught the attention of Elton John who signed him to his Rocket Record Company for his 2015 EP Where We Belong, also supporting Elton John on tour. His first full-length, Our Lives, appeared in 2017 on Island Records and Virgin EMI and after switching to AntiFragile Music, he put out the 2020 EP Things I'll Tell You Tomorrow in 2020. His second album Honesty appeared in 2021 and featured collaborations with Indie.Arie and others. His third album For When It Hurts was released on Oil+Water in 2023.
