A collective built around Joshua Redman (saxophone), Aaron Parks (keyboards), Matt Penman (bass) and Eric Harland (drums), James Farm rehearsed and toured for two years before releasing a critically acclaimed, all-original debut album in April 2011. The quartet, accustomed to crossing paths through collaborations over the past decade or so, notably as part of the SFJAZZ Collective, toured festivals in summer 2011 and set to work on a delightful second album, City Folk, released in 2014.
