Jasper Forks

The German composer, music producer and DJ Alex Christensen, also known as Jasper Forks or Alex C., was born in Hamburg on April 7, 1967. In 1987, he released his first production "Drums in your House". the title "Ritmo de la Noche" follows in 1990 with the project Chocolate, for which Verona Feldbusch sings the lyrics. Christensen receives his first gold record for this. With the music project U 96 and the single "Das Boot", he made it to number 1 in the sales charts in Germany in 1991. In 1994, he produced the album Life in the Streets for Prince Ital Joe feat. Marky Mark, which included the number one hit "United". In the following years, Christensen also released his songs under the pseudonyms and projects DJ Xela, Löwenherz, E-Cyas and Rollergirl. He became known in German-speaking countries through his participation in the casting series Popstars 2001, where he was responsible for the number 1 hit "I Believe" by the band Bro'Sis as author and producer. He also works for Right Said Fred, Tom Jones, Oli.P, Marianne Rosenberg, Sarah Brightman, ATC and others. As Alex C. feat. Y-ass, he reached number 1 in the German charts in 2007 with "Du hast den schönsten Arsch der Welt" . On May 16, 2009, he represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in Berlin together with singer Oscar Loya as the music duo Alex Swings Oscar Sings! Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow, but only achieved 20th place. Since 2010, he has also been working under the name Jasper Forks. In the same year, he reached 45th place in the charts with a rendition of "River Flows in You" by Yiruma. In November 2015, the album Weihnachten für Helene Fischer, which he produced, is released. His album series Classical 90s Dance (2017, 2018, 2019) is complemented by Classical 80s Dance in 2021.
