Jesse & Joy is a brother-and-sister pop duo from Mexico City. Their musical beginnings date back to 2001 when they began writing songs using instruments from their father’s church. In 2005, siblings Jesse Eduardo and Tirzah Joy Huerta Uecke landed a record deal with Warner Music Latina, releasing their studio debut Esta Es Mi Vida a year later. Preceded by the gold-selling single “Espacio Sideral,” the album reached the Mexican Top 20 and helped the duo win Best New Artist at the Latin Grammy Awards. Their rapid ascent to fame continued with the EP Esto Es Lo Que Soy (2008) and their sophomore effort Electricidad (2009), which reached Number 3 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart. 2012’s ¿Con Quién Se Queda el Perro? proved even more successful, winning four Latin Grammy Awards and cracking the Top 10 of the Mexican Albums, Latin Pop Albums, and Top Latin Albums charts. Their fourth full-length, Un Besito Más, appeared in late 2015 and debuted atop the Top Latin Albums chart. It also won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2016 Latin Grammys and Best Latin Pop Album at the 2017 American Grammy Awards. Preceded by the chart-topping J Balvin collaboration “Mañana Es Too Late,” Aire (Versión Día) appeared in 2020. The album also featured a guest appearance by Latin pop star Luis Fonsi on the track "Tanto," which also reached number 1 on the Mexican pop charts. Two years later, Jesse & Joy began teasing the release of their sixth studio album with the single “Respirar,” followed by "Clichés" and "Imagina." Clichés, the album, finally arrived in 2022.
