Oh Ji-Min, also known as J-Min, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and musical actress born on May 27, 1988, in Seoul, South Korea. She began her music career in Japan, releasing her first extended play Korogaru Ringo on September 12, 2007. In 2008, followed with the release of her second extended play Dream On... and cover album The Singer. J-Min's digital single "Change/One," released in 2009 was used as the opening and ending theme for the TV anime adaptation of Hanasakeru Seishounen. In addition to her work as a recording artist, J-Min has also contributed to several original soundtracks for dramas in 2012, including "Hello, Love" for KBS2's Wild Romance and "Can't Say It" for MBC's The King 2 Hearts. She has also appeared in various musical productions, such as Jack the Ripper, The Three Musketeers, In The Heights, and Hedwig: New Makeup. J-Min signed with Nayutawave Records (now EMI Records) in 2012 and released the digital singles "If You Want" and "Heart Theater" in November 2012 and March 2013, respectively. In 2014, she released her first Japanese album Cross The Border and the soundtrack "Hero" for MBC's drama Miss Korea. In July 2016, J-Min released the digital single "Way Back Home" as part of SM Entertainment's project SM Station, followed by "Ready For Your Love" featuring NCT's Johnny in August 2016. She has also served as a radio host on Arirang Radio's SoundK for the "musictomusic" corner since October 2016. In 2017, J-Min was confirmed to cast in the musical drama Boys Over Flowers: The Musical, playing the role of Tsukushi (or Geum Jan Di). She also released a digital single, "Alive," on March 20, 2017.
