JMSN

Electronica / R&B singer, songwriter, producer, and musician Christian Berishaj – born on February 6, 1987, in Dallas, Texas – is better known by his stage name, JMSN. Raised in Eastpointe, Detroit, Michigan, Christian Berishaj began his musical journey when his father gifted him a guitar when he was in fourth grade. By the time he was 12 years old, he began using Pro-Tools to record his songs. He formed the band Snowhite while still in high school, later changing the name of the group to Love Arcade. By the time they had signed with Atlantic Records, the group had become a solo vehicle for Christian Berishaj and released the album Love Arcade in 2006. The album was not a commercial success, and he dropped the name Love Arcade and pursued other musical interests. Christian started his own label, White Room Records in 2012 and began working under the stage name JMSN. He released his debut album as JMSN, †Priscilla†, in 2012. The critically acclaimed album was followed by the †Pllajë† EP (2013) before he released his second full-length release, JMSN (Blue Album), which hit number 18 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. The album – which featured the singles “Street Sweeper” and “’Bout It” - was followed by It Is (2016), Whatever Makes U Happy (2017), Velvet (2018), Heals Me (2021), and Soft Spot (2023).
