French rapper JNR Slice, also known as JNR, was born on January 20, 2000 in Hem, near Roubaix, in the Nord department of France. Unknown to the general public, he was brought to light in 2020 by a humorist, Greg Guillotin, who trapped him on hidden camera for one of his videos broadcast on social networks, entitled Pire Stagiaire. The video gained a great deal of visibility on the networks, benefiting the artist and the video for the song "À la Tess" , in which the comedian appears. In its wake, the video for another of the rapper's songs, "Kush Drill" , climbs to three million views on broadcast platforms. In 2021, JNR Slice multiplied his releases with "59US", "Les Ruelles", and freestyles from the North Slice series , "Gorilla Glue", "Astro", "Snowfall" and "Koussi Koussa ". The following year, he teamed up with Kalash Criminal on a new freestyle, "243" . He also appeared on "Walk", a track by Tayy Floss. In 2023, he returned alone in May with a new track, "Mérité", followed two weeks later by "Rêve noir ", both from the Junior album.
