John Lundvik is an R&B and pop singer who was born in England but grew up in Sweden when his adoptive parents moved back to their homeland. He began writing music at a young age and his songs were recorded by artists such as Anton Ewald, Isaac Elliot and San Nielsen. His song 'All About the Games' was the official Swedish song for the 2016 Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro and in 2018 his song 'My Turn' placed third in the Melodifestivalen to choose Sweden's entry in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. His 2019 song 'Too Late for Love', which topped the Swedish chart, won the competition and he was to perform it at the 2019 competition in Tel Aviv. He also wrote 'Bigger Than Us', which was to be the United Kingdom's 2019 entry performed by Michael Rice. His 2019 schedule was to include appearances at venues across Sweden.
