John Milk

Having grown up on the sounds of 1960s American soul and 1970s funk, Lyon-based John Milk enlisted the services of one of the genre's most charismatic French producers in Bruno Hovart, aka Patchworks (Mr Day, Mr President...), to give birth to their debut opus, Treat Me Right, released by Underdog Records in 2015. Thanks to a first homonymous single of formidable effectiveness and communicative good vibes, the band was soon celebrated by the specialized press and radio stations. As much for John Milk's falsetto voice as for its groove-filled rhythms, based on a bass as deep as it is talkative, laid-back drums to match, ingenious guitar casseroles and crisp organs.
